In what is some sad news for the fans of S-Jax, the Los Angeles Clippers have decided to waive the veteran swingman.
Yes, Stephen Jackson was officially waived today by the Clippers. Alex Kennedy of Hoops World confirmed the news:

Jackson, who has played in the NBA for 14 years, signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Clippers. He played nine games for Los Angeles, averaging nearly two points per game in about 12 minutes of playing time.
The NBA waiver deadline was quickly approaching, as it was at 5 p.m. ET. Other players that are waived also include Andrew Bynum, who was traded to the Chicago Bulls last night.
Let's hope Jackson can find another team somewhere. Teams now can sign 10-day contracts to players. A roster spot likely could open up soon for Jackson, if the team is interested in him.
