Boy, what a Saturday night it was for the festivities of the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend. We saw some great things from the Shooting Stars Challenge, Skills Challenge, Three-Point Contest and the Slam Dunk Contest. Here's the full recap and highlights here.
Shooting Stars
Chris Bosh was clutch all-around in the Shooting Stars Challenge, leading Team Bosh to victory for the second consecutive year. Bosh hit two big half-court shots to give the victory for the Eastern Conference.
Skills Challenge
Team Damian Lillard/Trey Burke won by just a tenth of a second to give a victory for the West. Overall, this may have been the most boring contest for many.
Three-Point Contest
Despite having two airballs to start out, Marco Belinelli got the job done in two sudden-death rounds with Bradley Beal. He ended it for good in the final, beating Beal by six made shots.
Slam Dunk Contest
John Wall stole the show with the very final dunk, leading the East to a sweep victory. The West did not win any part of any round, whether it was freestyle or battle. They had a chance after Ben McLemore had his dunk over Shaq, but Wall's slam was just too good.
