Could Kyrie Irving pull a LeBron James and leave the Cleveland Cavaliers in the near future? It may very well happen, as reports indicate that Irving's camp want him out of Cleveland, Ohio.
According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, the Cavs will offer Irving a maximum extension on July 1. However, don't be surprised if he denies the deal.
“It’s no secret that Irving’s camp has been making it known for years now the point guard would like to be elsewhere long term,” Windhorst writes. “No matter how much he denies it.”
The Cavs must do all they can to keep Irving to avoid another LeBron-like debacle to occur.
