The latest news about Kobe Bryant's injury and recovery status may not be a good one for Los Angeles Lakers fans. It looks like more signs point to Bryant sitting out the rest of the 2013-14 NBA season, as the latest news is that the Black Mamba's knee wasn't even healthy enough to get tested yet.

That's a pretty strong sign that Bryant won't be able to return for at least another month or two. Bryant is best off pulling a Derrick Rose and be cautious, sitting out the whole season. Bryant is in a much different situation than D-Rose as well, considering that he is much older than the Chicago Bulls star.
It's best for Bryant to take this season off and heal, then return next year... hopefully to at least somewhat like his old All-Star self.
