Andre Drummond had 30 points and 25 rebounds on his way to being the 2014 Rising Stars Challenge MVP, helping Team Hill defeat Team Webber in a 142-136 victory on Friday night.
Drummond broke the record for the most rebounds in the Rising Stars Challenge, as his 25 rebounds tops DeJuan Blair's previous record of 23 boards. Drummond shattered Team Webber when it came to boards, as he had 25 compared to Anthony Davis' eight that lead his squad.
Dion Waiters led Team Hill in scoring with 31 points. He battled with Tim Hardaway Jr., who led Team Webber with 36 points. Waiters also had seven assists that led Team Hill, while Michael Carter-Williams led Team Webber with nine dimes.
It was overall a great game, and it was a tremendous performance from Drummond, who went hard to rightfully earn what he deserved as the MVP of the game.
