It looks like Jairus Byrd to the New Orleans Saints won't be the biggest news for day one of the 2014 NFL Free Agency period. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the San Francisco 49ers have just acquired Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin in a trade today.

Martin, of course, was involved in the infamous bullying scandal with Richie Incognito on the Dolphins this past season.
San Francisco also traded for Blaine Gabbert today, so it will be very interesting to see what they do with these two players.
