Per ESPN, Wilfork's new deal has him making $8 million with $3 million guaranteed for the upcoming 2014 season. Wilfork also has the option of playing two more years with the Pats, where he would earn a grand total of $22.5 million.
Wilfork was scheduled to make $7.5 million this year, which counts nearly $12 million against the cap for New England.
The 32-year-old was unable to contribute much to a depleted Patriots team last season, being declared out for the year after an Achilles injury in the fourth game of the season.
The 32-year-old has been with the Patriots since the start of his career, being selected in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
