Bubba Watson won the 2014 Masters, getting his second career green jacket. Watson was very emotional the first time he won and he did so again when he celebrated with his son following the 18th hole. A great moment.
Watson finished an 8-under overall for the tournament, having a 3-under in the final round on Sunday. It was a great rebound after having a 2-over in the third round.
Watson was able to win the $1.62 million purse and just had a solid overall performance. He was the favorite on Sunday after struggles hit Jordan Spieth, who entered the final round leading everyone. Spieth fell behind, tied at second place with Jonas Blixt for a five-under score.
Congrats to Bubba. I'm sure many were rooting for him after Phil Mickelson
was unable to make cut while Tiger Woods
dropped out.
