Brooklyn Nets forward Paul Pierce became the 18th player in NBA history and fourth active player to score 25,000 career points. In a game against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night, Pierce scored his 25,000th point.
It happened when Pierce attempted a 3-pointer. He missed. However, Brooklyn got the rebound and kicked it back to the Truth, who shot the 3-pointer again and made it.
Unfortunately for the Nets, they lost the game due to Pierce not being able to hit free throws and shots at the end. With the loss, the Toronto Raptors clinched the Atlantic Division.
Nonetheless, congratulations for Paul Pierce. It's a great milestone.
