Tyrone Moore Jr., the half-brother of Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White, was shot to death outside of a nightclub at James Island, South Carolina, early Saturday morning. The 21-year-old died from a gunshot wound, the Charles County Deputy Coroner Kimberly Rhoton says.
Falcons owner Arthur Blank released a statement that day following White's loss.
"We were all saddened to learn about the death of Roddy's brother Tyrone," Blank said,
via ESPN. "Roddy is part of our Falcons family, and families stand together in difficult circumstances. Roddy and his family can count on our support through this very trying time. On behalf of the entire Falcons organization, we extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to Roddy, his mother Joenethia, and their entire family."
The shooting is still under investigation, while a full autopsy is being performed on Moore. The team confirms that Moore had lived with the 32-year-old White for several years.
Our condolences go out to Roddy White and his family.
