Carlos Prieto is the owner of the shoe store Sole Fly and is apparently the brother of Yvette Prieto, who is married to Michael Jordan himself. His store has also made collaborations with Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 3 model as well, so this latest photo from has to be something legit.
On Instagram, Prieto posted a photo of the "Black Cement" Air Jordan 3s with Nike Air branding on the back, similar to the 1988 retro "White Cement" 3s that released in February 2013.
Take a look:
Prieto writes that it's an "unreleased" Jordan shoe. That is true.
Throughout last year, many thought a 1988 retro of the Black Cement 3s would release. It never happened. Some sample pairs came up, but they could have been fake considering there's nothing on the inside tongue.
On Prieto's pair, these have to be legit. You can see the tag on the inside of the shoe, unlike the fake ones others have. With that, hopefully that increases the chances of this shoe releasing this year. We'll see what happens.
