LeBron James is officially returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers. During his essay about why he's returning, he mentioned several Cavs players such as Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters and Tristan Thompson.
But if you take a look, there was no mention of No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins:
I'm going into a situation with a young team and a new coach. I will be the old head. But I get a thrill out of bringing a group together and helping them reach a place they didn't know they could go. I see myself as a mentor now and I'm excited to lead some of these talented young guys. I think I can help Kyrie Irving become one of the best point guards in our league. I think I can help elevate Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters. And I can't wait to reunite with Anderson Varejao, one of my favorite teammates.
Of course, it might just be that he's a rookie and not proven yet. However, could it also mean that the Cavs are set to trade Wiggins to Cleveland. Then again, he did not mention Anthony Bennett either.
We'll see, but the Cavs are expected to trade for Kevin Love now that they have the King back.
Here's what the starting lineup is currently projected to look like as of now:
