Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat will be getting a mega payday via the Washington Wizards on Tuesday. The Polish big man cashed out in NBA free agency after signing a new extension with the Wizards.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Gortat signed a five-year extension worth $60 million with Washington.

Gortat, 30, has come into his own since heading to the Phoenix Suns after leaving the Orlando Magic as Dwight Howard's backup center.
He had his three best years in Phoenix and followed that up in his first year in Washington this past season. The seven-year veteran averaged 13.2 points and 9.5 rebounds per game last season.
Congrats to Gortat on the new deal. Maybe he will
buy another military vehicle to celebrate, or some other exotic car. Oh, and we can't forget
his pet pig.
