Dwyane Wade July 2014

It seems like the Chicago Bulls are expecting Carmelo Anthony to sign with the New York Knicks, because according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnraowski, the team is gauging interest in free agent shooting guard Dwyane Wade.

Wade would essentially do what LeBron James did in his decision with the Cleveland Cavaliers, returning to a place where he grew up. Chris Bosh is likely going to do the same as he plans to sign with the Houston Rockets.

Back in 2010, Wade had interest in going to the Bulls as he would play in his hometown. Four years later, the same opportunity arises. Sure, Wade could remain being a member of the Miami Heat "for life," but the Bulls option does make sense.

For one, Wade is old and I'm not sure if he's interested in a true rebuilding process. Second, the Bulls may be offering more money. That could be enough as well as Chicago being a team that is in better position to win a championship.

Do not be surprised if Wade joins Bosh and LeBron in leaving Miami. We'll see what happens.
