According to Fox Sports Ohio, talks between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves about a possible Kevin Love trade have "escalated" and are heating up.
It likely has escalated ever since the Cavs reportedly decided that they are now willing to include No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins in such a deal for Love. The deal would hinge on the Cavs including Wiggins, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
A source tells Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio that talks are now "getting real."

Wiggins is expected to sign his rookie contract sometime this week, though. If that happens, he cannot be traded for 30 days, which could a major delay on trade talks and can allow teams like the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors to make a more serious push for Love.
The Cavaliers did make a trade today with the Utah Jazz for three players. All of their contracts are non-guaranteed, and they could be used in a trade as a salary cap relief for the T-Wolves.
Here's more from Fox Sports:
Also of note from the Yahoo! Sports report is that the Denver Nuggets have offered the strongest package besides the Cavaliers and are a contender to land Love, who Wojnarowski said has "demanded a trade before the start of next season."
Besides looking for pieces Minnesota could later use in a salary dump, Wojnarowski reports the Cavs are shopping around for an "experienced center" in exchange for future first-round picks.
This is going to get interesting.
