Even though Ric Bucher's report about Kyle Lowry to the Miami Heat
were entirely false, the Toronto Raptors free agent point guard still has a good shot of taking his talents to South Beach.
The Heat and Pat Riley are meeting with Lowry today as they try to convince him to join Miami. Lowry is coming off a career year, but would have to take a bit of pay cut to join the Heat. Nonetheless, he would be joining a championship squad and essentially would create a Big Four in Miami.
According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, Miami is also targeting Washington Wizards free agent center Marcin Gortat to be their rim-protector:

Miami has tons of options in free agency, and they can definitely get some players now that they are
likely to have about $12 million in cap space.
