This year's World Cup was truly awesome. We saw USA surprising the world, Brazil getting smashed in the semifinals, Lionel Messi's heroics and so much more. It all ended with Germany winning the World Cup Final with a 1-0 score.
The next World Cup will be in 2018 in Russia, of course. This year's World Cup was the final time ESPN will air it until at least 2026. Fox Sports will take over the covering duties for the next two World Cups in 2018 and 2022.
ESPN did a great job this year, and they ended it with a bang with this awesome "One Shining Moment" montage. Watching it will give you some goosebumps for sure.
