Oakland Raiders rookie quarterback Derek Carr had a pretty good outing in a NFL preseason matchup versus the Detroit Lions, but it ended on a bad note when he had to exit the game due to injury.
According to the Sporting News, Carr suffered what appears to be sore ribs. However, he had to leave the game because he suffered a concussion.
"He's got sore ribs," Raiders coach Dennis Allen said. "I don't know exactly what his ribs are but the concussion was why he was out of the game."
Carr was 9-for-16 for 109 yards and a touchdown, looking pretty good in Friday night's game.
