Politicians love to stick their noses in everything not political, so it should be no surprise that Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel drew the opinion of a senator today.
John McCain has thoughts on Manziel Mania, and of course he expressed them.
Here is what he had to say, via the Sporting News.
During a segment with talk show host Mike Broomhead, the Arizona senator added his two cents on the Browns’ rookie quarterback and his gesture to the Redskins’ bench during Monday night’s preseason game.
“I just think he’s gotta grow up,” McCain told Broomhead. “When I was a young navy pilot, I’m glad I was not on national television; that’s all that I can tell you.”
