Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker became the joke of social media Tuesday after he was suspended by the NFL for amphetamines. Welker, who will now have to miss all of the games played this month, will be a costly loss for Denver.
Welker took to the Denver Post to talk about happened, and set the record clear about the allegation that he popped molly.
“I wouldn't have any idea where to get a Molly or what a Molly is,” he said. “That's a joke. I don't do marijuana, I don't do drugs. I don't do any drugs.”
The amphetamines Welker took happened when he was at the Kentucky Derby. It is very possible that someone could have slipped something into his drink or something similar to that, and that is the notion many are going with.
I mean, when you are looking like this, you have to be on something.
