Back in July, reports came out that Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving will be getting his own signature basketball sneaker with Nike. A little while after, a logo leaked for what will be on the Irving shoe.
Per @baltsneakershow, the shoe will be releasing in December. The first shoe of the line will launch on Christmas Day when Irving's Cavs face the Miami Heat. It will retail for $100. Most of the shoes, according to BSS, will be in GS sizes considering most of Irving's fanbase consists of very young kids.
Irving also has the ability to carry on a signature sneaker line for the next decade since he's only 22 years old, which would mean his fanbase will grow with him. It's a win-win situation, mainly for Nike itself.
Here are the full details:
BSS adds this:
Remember what we had to do for KD 4 releases, it's back. Only for us men tho. 2 GOOD GR releases in the Spring tho
I'm looking forward to seeing what the shoe will actually look like.
