I guess anything is possible now.
We've seen sneakerheads struggle in real life when trying to cop sneakers on the likes of Nike.com, Foot Locker and Finish Line, all but to strike out and see that they have "sold out" and are out of stock.
Now it's happening in video games.
Peep what happened in NBA 2K15, where you can buy sneakers for your MyPlayer with "virtual currency." Apparently, one of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low colorways actually sold out. A virtual sneaker. How's that possible? Do they have certain "stock" in this shoe online?
Take a look, via Icy Sole on Instagram:
Dang! A virtual shoe can sell out though!? Lol #NBA2K15 #icysole
Weird.
