Vince Carter November 2014

Memphis Grizzlies veteran swingman Vince Carter has been pretty efficient as he plays in the late stage of his NBA career. With the Grizzlies facing the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, the 37-year-old was honored by the franchise he first played for.

Toronto is celebrating their 20th season in the league, and Vince has obviously played a huge role for what made them popular. Whether it's him being known as "Half-Man, Half-Amazing" or "Air Canada," Carter was amazing for the Raptors until leaving in 2004.

Since then, their fans haven't been too kind to Vince ... until that Wednesday night. A video tribute was played for Carter, and at first the fan booed. However, those boos soon turned into cheers and a standing ovation for Carter.

It eventually led to Vince breaking down into tears:

Really nice gesture by Toronto. It finally brings closure between both sides after much hate for over the past decade.
