Nike LeBron 12

It's amazing what people will do for a pair of sneakers. Actually, make that 7,500 sneakers.

Per Sole Collector, some guy was caught stealing over a $1 million worth of the Nike LeBron 12 shoes:

A man was caught by the Memphis Cargo Task Force trying to steal nearly $1 million worth of LeBron 12s.

That this went down in Memphis shouldn't be too surprising - anyone who has ever ordered a pair of sneakers from Nike online knows that their hub there handles the majority of their shipping operations here in the U.S. The plot, which reads like something out of the second season of the The Wire, involves an employee at Intermodal Cartage Group attempting to roll off the lot, using his own ID card no less, towing a trailer filled with 7,500 pairs of LeBron 12s (one to rock, 7,499 to stock?). Fox 6 WBRC has more on this foiled sneaker heist below.

Now that's crazy.
