Denver Nuggets head coach Brian Shaw can't understand these damn kids.
The Nuggets had lost 13 of their last 14 games before their win on Tuesday night, and a nice tidbit came out of it in that the Shaw was reportedly reading books on how to connect and relate to his millennial players.
From Deadspin:
Head coach Brian Shaw has acknowledged he’s had some trouble communicating with his players, and it’s gotten so bad that he told us he started reading some books on how to relate to millennials or Generation Y players, as he put it. Shaw said he’s been frustrated that these players seem to need to need more praise than in his day, that they’re easily distracted. He even tried taking their cell phones away from them an hour before game time, putting them in a box so they’ll concentrate on the film.
Yikes.
