LeBron James keeps adding on into the record books.
Just days after passing Allen Iverson for No. 22 on the all time scoring list, James has now passed Scottie Pippen for the most assists all time by a frontcourt NBA player.
James got the record-breaking 6,136th assist off a Kevin Love 3-pointer, which was his fifth in the Cleveland Cavaliers' 102-93 win over the Detroit Pistons. He finished with 11 on that night.
James was very honored of the accomplishment, writing the following to Instagram:
Once again I'm at a lost for words really! For me this goes right at the top with winning a championship because I've always love seeing the success of my teammates!! Seeing my teammates score always meant more to me than me scoring! I can't do anything without those guys every single night. Their hardwork, dedication, professionalism, etc, etc has put me in the position I am today and this is my way of saying THANK YOU to every teammate I've ever had(past, present, future) #StriveForGreatness
