The Miami Dolphins have fell short of the playoffs these past few seasons, but are only just a few pieces away from being a legit contender. Two guys who will help this franchise get to the next level are quarterback Ryan Tannehill and center Mike Pouncey.
According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are looking to look up the two franchise cornerstones to contract extensions this offseason.

Locking up Pouncey will likely be the priority for the Dolphins. He is arguably the best center in the NFL right now, and the player who anchors the offensive line and keeps them intact.
For Tannehill, Miami is likely to exercise the fifth-year option on the QB, keeping him under contract with the Dolphins through the 2016 NFL season.
