Marshawn Lynch January 2015

The Seattle Seahawks recognize Marshawn Lynch is the heart and soul of their offense, and they will be rewarding him following the Super Bowl.

According to NFL.com, the Seahawks have made a commitment to Lynch and are looking to make him apart of the franchise for the rest of his career.

Sources say Lynch is expected to receive a huge contract extension, in which he could make $10 million alone in 2015. Lynch is wrapping up the third year of his four-year, $31 million deal, where he made $5 million this season. He is expected to make $6.5 million for 2015.

Lynch, who has rushed for over 1,200 yards in each of the past four seasons, has outplayed his contract in the Seahawks brass' minds. Lynch was the main factor of the team's NFC Championship comeback versus the Green Bay Packers.

Lynch led the league with 17 rushing touchdowns this past season, and also had 1,306 yards. His 219 postseason rushing yards leads the league as well heading into the Super Bowl tonight.

If all goes as planned, Lynch is headed for a big game. He is one of the top candidates for Super Bowl MVP if his Seahawks do in fact repeat as champions over the New England Patriots.

We'll see if Beast Mode can be about that action when it comes to the money once Seattle discusses his future.
