Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook has been with Jordan Brand for quite some time now, bringing out the sickest PEs on the court.
For the past few years, he's been endorsing the latest Air Jordan shoes. Last year, he balled in the 28s. This year, it's now in the new 29s.
Jordan Brand doesn't have many athletes with their own signature sneaker, though. Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony have them. Dwyane Wade used to, until he left for Li-Ning.
With so many NBA stars getting their own shoes, such as Damian Lillard and Kyrie Irving, it looks like Westbrook could be next in line. Only for Westbrook, his shoe will be branded under the GOAT basketball player.
Per @baltsneakershow, the sneaker will be dubbed as the "Air Jordan Westbrook 0" for the Thunder star's first signature shoe. The 0 fits in perfectly, being that it's his number and it means the first for things — unlike other shoe companies who use the No. 1 for that.
Judging by Westbrook's fashion tastes, it will be interesting to see how this sneaker turns out along with the colorways.
