While Russell Wilson prepares for the upcoming NFL season and avenging last February's Super Bowl loss, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback also ponders about a future in the sport of baseball.
Wilson was a two-sport athlete, and has done some spring sessions with the likes of the Texas Rangers. Wilson doesn't rule out playing baseball professionally, becoming a two-sport athlete once again.
Wilson discussed that possibility in an interview with HBO's "Real Sports" with Bryant Gumbel, which will air on April 21st.
"I never want to kill the dream of playing two sports," Wilson said. "I would honestly play two sports."
"I don't know," Wilson said sheepishly. "I may push the envelope a little bit one of these days."
Being a QB, he should just stick to that.
