Nike has been trying to branch out with a signature shoe for one of their football athletes. Darrelle Revis and Calvin Johnson hadn't panned out as expected, but it looks like they are taking a chance on another star player.
New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz will reportedly be getting his own signature sneaker with the swoosh, but it won't exactly be a "football" shoe.
According to sneaker insider Dino Hatfield, the sneaker will be a Nike Sportswear joint. It will look like the Nike Air Trainer 1s, but without the strap. The sneakers will reportedly be called the "Air Cruz."
