A lot of speculation has gone on over the years of how much former NBA superstar Allen Iverson was getting paid from Reebok.
A lot has been said of A.I. blowing through all his NBA earnings and going broke, yet he was still financially stable thanks to his tremendously structured Reebok contract.
No matter how broke people would say he is, there was the fact people he has about $30 million in a bank account that he can't touch until he turns 55 years old. No one knows the exact amount, but that's the one I've always heard.
In the Iverson biography "Not a Game" by Kent Babb, it talks about that. Per BSO, Iverson actually gets paid a salary from Reebok every year. That's something I actually never knew.
They say the amount is over $800,000 a year. As for the secret bank account that he can't touch until he's 55, there's an approximate amount of $32 million in there. As for the $800,000 salary, Iverson is using that to apparently pay off creditors, bills and for his ex-wife.
If he didn't have that Reebok money, who knows where A.I. would be right now?
