The Indiana Pacers have been linked to Monta Ellis for the past few weeks, and it looks like the rumors are picking up steam ever since the 2015 NBA Free Agency period officially began on Wednesday.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Pacers are close to a deal with the former Dallas Mavericks shooting guard.

As a Pacers fan, this makes sense since it looks like Indy won't be retaining Rodney Stuckey now. While Ellis costs more, he is worth the risk and he could fit well alongside Paul George.
Let's just hope he doesn't turn into a chucking monster.
