San Antonio Spurs v Los Angeles Clippers - Game Five

Despite all the rumors of him being linked to the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks, it looks like it will still come down to just the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers for center DeAndre Jordan in the 2015 NBA Free Agency period.

According to ESPN's Chris Broussard, the Clippers have no better than a 50-50 chance of retaining Jordan's services. One of the major selling points is offering an additional year and an additional $27 million.

However, it's been said Jordan does not want to be the "third wheel" to Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, which is why the Mavs still remain in the hunt.

Nonetheless, Los Angeles still remains the frontrunner.

Free agent DeAndre Jordan is likely looking to sign a four-year deal that allows him to opt out after three seasons, which would nullify the Los Angeles Clippers’ advantage in keeping the center, sources told ESPN on Tuesday.

The Clippers could offer Jordan a deal that includes a fifth year worth $27 million. …

Sources had told ESPN.com earlier this week that the Mavericks are considered the likeliest team to persuade Jordan to leave the Clippers, and a source close to the situation told ESPN on Tuesday that it’s “50/50″ between the two teams.

Despite all that's been said with Jordan and the Clippers, I'm expecting him to stay there.
