American Pharoah became the 12th triple crown winner in horse racing on Saturday, winning the Belmont Stakes.
Despite being a champion, owner Ahmed Zayat has plans for American Pharoah to race sometime again this year.
From ESPN:
Ahmed Zayat said Sunday morning that he wants the fans "to still enjoy something," and he's leaving it up to trainer Bob Baffert to map out a schedule.
Among the possible next races for the 12th Triple Crown winner are the Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park on Aug. 2; the Jim Dandy at Saratoga Race Course on Aug. 1; the Travers at Saratoga Race Course on Aug. 29; or a race at Del Mar in California in August.
