Coming to no one's surprise, the New Orleans Pelicans plan to sign Anthony Davis to a massive contract that would make him the highest-paid player in basketball.
According to T.J. Beisner of MyCN2.com, the Pelicans can offer Davis a contract of around five years for $143 million starting on July 1, the start of NBA Free Agency.
His deal would be worth about $30 million a year.
