Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has fired back at New York Jets CB Antonio Cromartie after he dissed him last week.
Cromartie said that Sherman benefits with his stats because he gets to stay on one side of the field. Sherman responded by saying if it weren't for him being in the Super Bowl, Cromartie wouldn't have had his Pro Bowl bad last season.
"That was unfortunate," Sherman said Tuesday after Seattle finished an OTA session. "You would think after me helping him get a Pro Bowl bid [for the 2014 season] ... We went to the Super Bowl and he wouldn't have made it to the Pro Bowl otherwise. And now he's talking bad."
Sherman couldn't play in the Pro Bowl in 2014 as he was in the Super Bowl, which made Cromartie — who was on the Cardinals at the time — one of the alternates.
