He was only joking, but it’s still funny.
Barkley has grown tired of Golden State Warriors fans telling the world how great their team is. This past weekend at the American Century Championship, the legions of Warriors fans in Lake Tahoe tired the former NBA great out.
Barkley says he couldn’t go anywhere during the tournament without fans reminding him about his statement that Golden State couldn’t win an NBA title with its style of play.
“The only thing that’s been annoying is all these Golden State Warriors fans who want to talk so much now, talk about jump shooting teams,” Barkley said during an NBC interview with Steve Sands.
“You know they had a great year with Steph (Curry) and Klay (Thompson), a great year,” he said.
“But (the fans) don’t have to keep saying it over and over again. It’s annoying.”
Charles will find a new team and fan base to hate shortly.
