ESPN's Chris Broussard made a business decision when it came to Mark Cuban’s offer of $100,000 to the charity of his choice if he’d divulge his sources.

Hours after Cuban detailed the events prior to Jordan snubbing the Mavericks to return to the Clippers, Chris Broussard apologized for not contacting the Mavs owner before tweeting a report from his “trusted” sources that he was driving around Houston desperately looking for Jordan’s address.

“Regarding my Wednesday report: I should have attempted to contact Mark Cuban before reporting what my sources were telling me. I always try to carry myself with honesty and integrity both personally and professionally. I recognize that I tweeted hastily, I’m sorry for it, and I will learn from my mistake," Broussard writes.

On Friday, Cuban broke down the events of his day, revealing that he was at DeAndre Jordan’s door, but that the Los Angeles Clippers center told him he was on a date.
