Jason Pierre-Paul is reportedly getting his own medical care and rehab in South Florida after the July 4th fireworks accident that cost him his right index finger.
It has his employer confused.
According to the New York Daily News, the Giants believe Pierre-Paul is going about things the wrong way.
John Mara, the Giants co-owner, has “no idea’’ when Jason Pierre-Paul will report to training camp, nor can he give an update on his playing future, because he doesn’t know how many fingers Pierre-Paul has.
"We don’t know how extensive the damage is. That’s the problem. I don’t know how many fingers he has."
JPP had to have his right index finger amputated, the knuckle removed and he suffered fractures to his right thumb and severe burns that required skin grafts.
