Patrick Kane is too big a star for moments like this.
Chicago Blackhawks legend Denis Savard has a wonderful story about the time Taylor Swift totally had Kane off his game.
Savard, a Hockey Hall of Famer whose No. 18 is retired by the team, shared the tale of one of the times he got especially mad at Kane.
It came in a mid-February contest against the Predators in Nashville. Kane actually played a pretty good game, but was reportedly responsible for giving up a Predators goal.
Savard, who was the Blackhawks coach at the time, was upset at Kane and asked if he was too distracted by the two beautiful blonde young ladies seated behind the bench.
Kane was late getting to the team bus as well, but had a good excuse.
“Do you know who those girls were?” Kane asked his head coach, as Savard recalls. “One of them was Taylor Swift.”
