Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Cole Hamels has thrown a no-hitter versus the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field on Saturday.
It had been 7,920 games since the Cubs were no-hit.

Hamels struck out 12 batters and walked two on 129 pitches.
The 2008 World Series MVP tossed six innings of a Phillies combined no-hitter against the Atlanta Braves on Sept. 1, 2014, but has never accomplished the feat on his own.
