Marshall has been in the NFL for close to a decade, but believes he’s seen enough to cement Revis as the best cornerback in league history.
“I’ve been around great ones,” Marshall said. “I practiced against Champ Bailey … Charles (Peanut) Tillman. Played against some great guys. I didn’t play against Deion (Sanders), but Darrelle Revis is the best in the league. Ever.”
The list of greats in NFL history read like a who’s who of star-studded names including Herb Adderley, Mel Blount, Darrell Green, Mike Haynes, Night Train Lane and Deion Sanders.
Has Revis surpassed that group and more? The 30-year-old has been selected to six Pro Bowls and two All-Pro teams, as well as just recently helping the New England Patriots win a Super Bowl last season.
