The Chicago Bulls issued a statement early Thursday morning on the lawsuit against Derrick Rose and which a woman claims that the star guard and friends gang raped her.
“We just learned about this matter and do not know all the facts. It would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.”
The lawsuit was filed Wednesday by an unidentified woman, who said she dated Rose from 2011 to 2013.
She is accusing Rose and two friends of drugging and raping her. The incident, she alleged, occurred in August 2013.
