It's official: Floyd Mayweather will face Andre Berto on September 12th for his 49th and final boxing fight.
Mayweather talked about the upcoming fight, saying there will be some knockdowns and blood in this bout with Berto.
“With the way he comes, and with the way I’m going to come, if it’s not a knockout, there’s going to be some knockdowns,” Mayweather said, via BSO. “And there’s going to be blood. There’s going to be knockdowns, and there’s going to be blood. A lot.”
Mayweather is coming off his marquee victory of Manny Pacquiao back in May.
“I don’t know why, but I’m just training a lot harder for this fight,” Mayweather said. “I just want to go out with a bang, I guess.”
