Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is active for Week 3, just hours after the birth of his son.
The Vikings congratulated Peterson and his wife Ashley on Twitter:

USA Today’s Tom Pelissero said Peterson told him during training camp he would play no matter when his son was born.
Adrian Peterson told me during camp he'd play no matter when his son arrived. Was hoping it'd be during the bye week. He's active today.
