The attorney for the woman accusing Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane of rape said at news conference Wednesday afternoon that the rape kit performed on victims was tampered with, according to the Chicago Sun Times.
Thomas J. Eaonnou said the evidence bag containing the rape kit performed on the woman was delivered to the front door of her mother’s home Tuesday.
“This is no hoax,” attorney Thomas J. Eaonnou said. The evidence bag had been torn open.
Eaonnou, who held the package up for everyone to see, called for the FBI or state police to perform an independent police review of the apparently tampered evidence.
Eaonnou said photos of the bag have been sent to the district attorney’s office.
