The Denver Broncos announced Thursday that safety TJ Ward has been suspended for the first game of the 2015 NFL regular season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
Ward’s suspension stems from his misdemeanor charge from May 2014.
Ward, a Pro Bowler last season, will miss the opener against the Baltimore Ravens.
