Lawrence Tynes played for the Chiefs from 2004-2006, but has never been a teammate of Alex Smith’s to my knowledge.
Tynes ripped and trashed the Chiefs quarterback on Twitter, calling him a “check down master" while calling for Andy Reid to put in Chase Daniel.
Throw it down the field check down master it's the end of the half take a shot.

Wouldn't be mad if the @chiefs put @ChaseDaniel in. Dude slings it all over the park. I'm done with the check down master.

The guy completed 1 pass to a WR in our 2012 NFC Championship game. Signing Maclin is like getting a Porsche when you live on a gravel road

It’s an extremely valid point, with Chiefs fans and experts alike clamoring for Daniel, who’s known to spread the ball over the field.
In short, can Andy Reid risk pulling the $17 million man for the $3.3 million man, because Smith is scared to pull the trigger? Can Smith win a Super Bowl simply being a game manager?
