Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has joined the growing number of route-runners frustrated by the NFL’s inability to define what a catch is.
Maclin was upset when his “catch” Sunday was deemed not to be a catch.
He hauled in the pass, took several steps and tumbled to the ground before losing the ball out-of-bounds.

Maclin even made a reference to Dez Bryant when discussing his play to reporters on Sunday.
"I think the difference between that is, I think his ball might have actually hit the ground a little bit,” Maclin said, via CBS Houston. “In this case it didn’t hit the ground at all. It is what it is. It’s the rule.”
A rule change was made during the offseason to help define the catch, but that definition is still not singular.
